Refund Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

At Local Growth Lab, we want customers to have a clear understanding of our refund policy before purchasing.

Digital Products

Our products are primarily digital products, including e-books, guides, templates, prompts, toolkits and other downloadable resources.

Because digital products are delivered electronically and can be accessed immediately after purchase, we generally do not offer refunds for change of mind once the product has been supplied or made available for download.

This includes situations where you:

  • change your mind after purchasing;
  • decide you no longer need the product;
  • purchase the wrong product;
  • do not use or implement the product; or
  • expected a particular result that was not expressly guaranteed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major problem, is materially different from its description, cannot be accessed because of an issue on our side, or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Download or Access Issues

If you have paid for a product but:

  • did not receive the download link;
  • received the wrong file;
  • cannot open the file;
  • received a corrupted file; or
  • experience another technical delivery problem,

we will take reasonable steps to resolve the issue, including providing a replacement file or new download link where appropriate.

Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, we may provide a refund for the duplicate transaction where we can verify that a genuine duplicate purchase occurred.

Requesting a Refund

Refund requests should include:

  • your name;
  • the email address used for the purchase;
  • your order number;
  • the product purchased; and
  • a brief explanation of the issue.

Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method.

The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider or payment processor.
